If you are fated to be together, you will be together!

This card just came thru the mail today.
Mabruk muqaddam to both Muhammad Akram Abdul Kadir and Farahin Kahar
Insya Allah will try my best to attend your most historical day of your life.
__________
I got to know to Akram online due to some tshirt sales. He calls me Ummi for some reason. And it was from there that he brought up the subject of wanting to look for a right candidate.
He told me what he was looking for in his future wife. So that made my work a little bit easy.
I didn't know Farah personally. She calls me Aunty. They better decide what to call me after marriage coz I'm gonna be real confused addressing them both differently. Hehehe.
Had asked around and this cute girl that her friend Nadiah suggested to me caught my attention. Btw Nadiah is married to Abdul Rahman who happens to be Akrams friend. Such a coincidence. And mind you they are all doctors! Masya Allah.
And I guess Farah caught Akram's attention too.
Ooops I forgot to mention. Akram was studying in Cairo while Farah was in UKM.
The first time they met for a get-to-know session was on Skype! Of course I was with Farah all the time. Poor girl. She was so shy and nervous her hands were as cold as ice! And he was only on an iPsd screen. He3.
And the second time they met was at my house. Yes..yes.. I was around too. And you can guess how she was now that he was really infront of her. Hehehe.
And after that it was just one good news after another. Parents were happy with their childs choice. They got engaged a few months back and now they're officially going to be husband and wife.
Once two total strangers and are going to be the most important people in each others life after Allah then HIS Prophet saw and their parents.
_________
I hope you two don't mind me sharing ur story. But it has iktibar that people can relate. Just shows that if someone was meant to be ur partner no matter how far apart you are or the fact you absolutely don't know each other... if its fated it will happen!
Allah will make sure you meet.
Like the Malay saying.
Ikan di laut, asam di darat. Di dalam periuk bertemu juga...

Mak and her solat

Since the past 8 years Mak (my mum in law)has been bedridden due to stroke to half her body. But never a day has she missed a solat!
Somebody needs to clean her and change her pampers. Then put on new clean clothes and take wudhu' for her. Then someone needs to 'pray' with her. She tends to get confuse with the rakaats. You would too if you are praying while lying down all the time. And she reads aloud so we can monitor what she reads.
Shes coughing badly lately. With phlegm wanting to come out but its hard for her to make it come out.
She struggled to finish her Zohor and Asar jamak prayers just now. She could hardly read. Her voice was broken but she was determined to finish her solat. I even asked her to take a short break. Masya Allah. May Allah accept her solats.
And may Allah have mercy on her and cure her from her coughs. Please pray for her too.
____________
For those people out there who are fit and well yet still NOT praying, just a gentle reminder from me.
Don't let your Lord who has given you the ability to move take away that ability before you bow down to HIM!
